Business Analyst

Job Description: The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between the client’s business needs and the development team, ensuring that software solutions are aligned with the clients' strategic objectives. This role involves gathering and translating requirements into functional specifications and supporting the development process to ensure the successful delivery of software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to gather and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through software solutions.
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for the development team.
Develop user stories, use cases, wireframes, and workflows to ensure clarity of requirements.
Prepare comprehensive documents including FRD, BRD, solution documents, wireframe, test cases, and use cases to support the development process.
Work closely with software development teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time.
Assist in project management activities, including tracking progress, timelines, and deliverables.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Conduct data analysis, generate insights, and provide recommendations to enhance business performance.
Play a key role in facilitating User Acceptance Testing by working with stakeholders or end-users to ensure the software meets business requirements. They may help create UAT test cases, define acceptance criteria, and guide users through the testing process.
Provide post-implementation support, gather client feedback, and ensure continuous improvement in software solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of software development processes and project management techniques.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, etc.).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in writing user stories, creating wireframes, and developing functional specifications.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced software development environment.
